This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Memory MIDI (the “App”) handles information. The App is a wireless MIDI controller that sends MIDI messages to music software over your local Wi-Fi network.
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to us. Your settings, custom presets, and control labels are stored only on your device and are never sent anywhere. MIDI data is sent only to the music software you choose on your own local network; it contains no personal information.
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect and process certain information, including a device advertising identifier, approximate (coarse) location, app interaction data, and diagnostic information.
On iOS, the App asks for your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking takes place. If you allow tracking, ads may be personalized. If you decline, or if you have not answered the prompt, ads are served on a non-personalized basis. You can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Ads are shown either way; your choice only affects how relevant they are.
For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the App additionally shows a consent form provided by Google before requesting ads. Google’s handling of this data is described in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
